Preparation details?
A guide covering safety and logic will be provided. Before arriving, please ensure you have brought clearly labeled, reusable, heat-safe containers to pack your dishes.
What about my availability?
Register for any opening during week one. We will then establish a permanent weekly rotation based on the group's needs to ensure all students have an ideal slot.
What should I do if I miss my regular cooking appointment?
Provided you give 24-hours notice, we can attempt to move you to a different time that week. Please adjust your status through the portal or speak with your coordinator.
Am I able to miss?
Based on how you feel, you might still join or take on lighter tasks like tidying up. You can also move your booking to a new time if you notify the team at least 24 hours in advance. Health and safety remain our primary concern for the group.
I dislike the current recipes. Will participants help choose our future university food menus?
Definitely. Our starting menus focus on basic, healthy, and tasty staples to help everyone get comfortable in the lab. Moving forward, we will incorporate student feedback into our meal planning to ensure the recipes represent our diverse community. Note that some complex requests might be limited by our current budget and resources as a pilot project.
I have accessibility concerns or unique requirements. Can I still join the Eatonomi collective kitchen?
Contact us via email regarding any specific needs so we can assist in making our lab inclusive for you. However, please be aware that because of our shared kitchen environment and bulk sourcing, we might not be able to fully guarantee a lack of cross-contamination for those with severe food allergies.
Can I opt out?
We allow for account closures due to school withdrawal or medical issues. Our team provides partial refunds for missed sessions or will help you find a new time to cook.
